im thinking abot upgradeing to the 1 LE brake setup. i can find NEW kits for like 850 front only. Is it worth the time and money? Also, can i use the stock brake booster and master cylinder or do i have to upgrade them as well?

none, this is all just thoughts for now. but ive got alot of things figured out for what i want to do. ive got to many other things to be paying for. plus for right now, this is my DD. if i can help it, im not gona be doing much of this untill ive got something else to drive. But what do you think about them? worth the time and money? or should i just get a good set of brakes.
Heres the deal. My next project is paint. Its starting to rust in the t-top chanel and i wanna get to it before it gets BAD. After that, once my tires are worn out im gona get new wheels and tires. So i want something nice sitting behind the wheels. I know that most of the stopping force is needed up front. So i was gona concentrate on the front for now. And the rear when i decide what i want to do with the rear end.

My advice for what it is worth is to set priorities and stick to them. I did that with my car and now all I do is drive it, because I completed everything I wanted done.
Now back to your brake questions:
1LE brake are good, but do I have them NO. I did upgrade my front 10.5 with new rotors, performance pads, and ss brake hoses and it works for me.
The rears I changed to the PBR 11.655 rotors & Aluminum calipers + the same type of pads on the front. You and use the same master brake cyliner but need a new proportioning valve when you change the rears to discs. Pictures of rear brakes & 17"tires and wheels as examples.

Alright, ill probably just do the rear for now so i can have the 4 wheel disc. Heres a link to the kit if your at all curious as to what im talkin about
http://www.hawksthirdgenparts.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=1731 it appears to have everything i would need if i decide to do it.
Ive got my Priorities, and then the things i WANT to do. top thing on my list now is paint. next is some interior work. Then ill mess with the whole drivetrain and suspension since its in pretty good shape as it is.

There is a guy on thirdgen.org (Ed Miller) that sells kits for rear disc conversions and is well repected for the quality of his products. I would check him out before spending that amout of money at Hawks. My whole 9-bolt rear axle replacement with disc brakes did not cost me that amount of money.
