Hi, I''''''''''''''''ve been looking for a distributor for my project for some time and a gentleman is offering me this distributor for my 302 chevy. Could anyone tell if this looks like the correct distributor or could this be some type of restamp or something along these lines. Thanks, Dan

1111266 is a single point distributor from a 67 (and early 68) Camaro Z/28, 302 with a manual (of course) trans.
What''''s he asking for it? With only 602 ''''67 Z/28''''s built, that''''s a fairly rare piece if it is the real thing. But don''''t tell him that.

Hi, Could you view the attachments... It shows an 8D29 date code which should be an April, of 68 distributor... A few more made.. He is asking $450.00

Other info I have found says that # also went into early 68. Don''t know exactly how far into the year it went though. Late April is almost into a half year production run already, so it''''s hard to call it "early", but it could be right.

I''ve done lots of research and this was used as late as May in 68'' but I wouldn''t know the difference between what they call a "restamp" and an original. Hopefully someone can tell by the pic''s... I have a few more pic''s but can''t figure out how to post them. Getting late... got to get up early... Any additional help would be greatly appreciated. That is definately a restamped 266 distributor and not worth the $450 he wants.
