Well I'm 17 and I just bought my first camaro its a 1997 RS, I went for the RS for the lower insurance rates :) Well I'll have pics up soon its in the body shot getting a fresh coat of paint, metallic plum. I'm from Virginia, and that is about it.

Congrats. I didn't buy a car when I was as young as you. I worked for a little while I was going to school (High school) and hated it. Got home at 10:00pm. Where's time for homework? But maybe since you have a cool car now, all the girls will say ohhhhhh dblock, would you ever be so kind as to allow my rump to grace the firm seat of your marvelous chariot of STEEL, at which point you could make a deal to allow them to do so under the condition that they do your homework while your working. Money = Cool car = chicks = finished homework. That's the mathematical property some philosophers are calling the "theory of everything." What can I say? I do my homework.

I got mine senior year of HS (18)...get ready for girls flocking you for rides, and YOU will always be the one driving when your with your friends (especially if it has T-Tops)
Its funny, when the other kids asked me how much I paid, I would say '27'...and they always would think I paid 27K, not 2.7K...

I was in high school when i got my 94 z, i was 17. But what is the insurance differance witha V8 compared to a V6?

I got mine during this last summer. I'm also 17. canit wait for good weather to start driving it again.

Puck90a- great formula we'll see how it works lol, I have worked my ass off for a year and a half for this car, def. worth it though
Badinfluence- It does have T-tops, it's my senior year too (dont turn 18 till aug.) But already have planned on driving it to beach week.
94Ztwo8- the insurance would be about 80 bucks more, which that money could def. go to gas

i was reading something where they cant charge you more than 15% for having a different engine but i dont know insurance people all seem to scam people i moved from ny to FL went from 220 a month to 290 a month just for the damn move...

yea man i have the same car 97 rs i jus got it back in august it only had 69xxx miles when i got it and it runs really strong, about a month after i bought mine my other two buddies bought a 2000 firebird and the other a brand new 2007 stang v6 deluxe package. we race the hell outta each other. i love my camaro. where abouts r u in VA? i live in springfield
