Hey everyone, I'm new here. Been lurking for awhile, but decided to sign up today. I've got a 1967 Camaro that i've been restoring for the last couple years and I'm to the point of the transmission. Right now theres a 2 speed powerglide in it, which is cracked and leaking fluid all over the place. (or WAS leaking fluid all over the place) so I'm looking to convert over to a Turbo 350 or a muncie 4 speed. I know the 4 speed conversion will be a lot more costly, and hard, but I think it may be worth it. (depends on the all said and done price). I could probibly do the conversion over to the 350 but not the 4 speed. So what do you guys think is the way to go? Anyone done either of these conversions? If so how much did it cost?
Thanks for any help,
Collin

If you have an assembly manual, you can look up each and every piece it will take to make a factory job of it. My car came with a powerglide also, but I am installing a Tremec TKO600 5speed manual. I purchase a complete kit from Classic Chevy 5 Speed, and it is fantastic! Every piece, including all hardware is included and carefully labelled.
Might me another option to consider.
