Does anyone know if the doors from a Firebird are an exact match for a Camaro? I've poked around and can't seem to find any information to confirm this. Thanks for any help!

I'm pretty sure the line on the Firebird goes all the way down the door, whereas the Camaro fades about 3/4 of the way down

Depends on what you are talking about. Doors, trunk and roof are the same. Most of the internal structure is the same. Tail pan (tail lights) quarters, fenders, hood and the whole front end is differnt. If you ae thinking about converting one its going to be a lot of work.
Edit: Just go to Classicindustries.com and download the Camaro and the Firebird catologes and compair part numbers and pictures.

Thanks for the help y'all! I found some firebird doors for cheap and wanted to make sure they would fit on my 69 Camaro. Both of mine are rusted out, and these that I found are solid. Wanted to make sure they were the same before spending the money!

Yeah, they are starting to add up now. Thankfully I have a wife that helps feed my Camaro addiction! Next one will be a 3rd gen!

By the looks of it you only need a 2nd Gen to get a full house!

The third gen that I want is an Iroc...that way I can have a full house of generations, and packages. Coupe, RS, SS, Z28, and Iroc!

Eventually will have to throw in a COPO, Pace Car, and a Convertible, too. I'll need a helluva lot more green before I can do that, though!
