I'd like to say Hi to everyone as this is my first post! I am building my first 383 SBC. I have a forged Eagle rotating assembly with the H-beam rods. My question is, I want to run a moroso or canton oil pan. Do I have to purchase a stroker clearenced pan or can I buy just a normal pan and not have any clearence probs with the crank or rods hitting? Thanks to all for your help!!!!

Hi,
I'd-probably-go-for-the-clearenced-pan,your-really-going-to-benefit-from-the-additional-room-for-the-oil-to-move.
that-added-space-will-help-under-hard-acceleration.

Hope-this-helps-iI've-done-it-and-made-a-difference.
Joe.
