68 paint codes

Hi there, I'm a mere wife of a camaro fanatic, but I am wanting to surprise my husband for his birthday and get the car repainted back to the original color (right now it's primer).  Can anyone tell me where to find the paint codes??

Welcome Ma'am.  That is an awesome jesture, He should be happy with it.  The paint code is found on the 'cowl tag' in the engine compartment.  It is located on the firewall behind the power brake booster, or the master cylinder.  I have a pic of one here. http://www.camaroforums.com/m_46990/tm.htm
Once you get the numbers off it you could either; 1. research it here on the forums with this  http://www.camaroforums.com/m_57787/tm.htm   or 2. post up the numbers and we will check it out for you.  I would also recommend you check with him on certqin things, you are his wife and know how to ask questions without 'asking', that way he is pleasantly surprised instead of just reaslly surprised.
