In addition to all the electrical problems, We found specks of rust on the chrome bumpers. Anyone know how to fix them up? Also, the dealer marked the paint w/ a grease pen (to show where there was known damage before transport). Anyone know what we should use to get this off? We're under water restrictions here so can't just wash the whole thing. Thanks again!

i use brillo pads.......make it wet scrub the rust like its dirt and then just wash off the soapy stuff thats left.....ive gotten alot of bikes with chrome  frames that were rusted and that worked really well

Thanks for the suggestions. We tried an SOS pad and it worked great. I was worried about it scratching the chrome but it worked great!

If you think SOS was good this will blow you away Eagle One Never Dull it's the can the guy above was talking about. The more you use it the better it looks. As long as the cloth turns black it's works. Try it on your rims I did it on mine they are polished aluminum. Trust me use this thanks me later. Anything to get another F Body Camaro looking great again I could buy a vette I love these more.

Thanks, we'll try that. He was just asking about what we should use on the rims. Let you know how it goes!

Yeah Never Dull is some awesome stuff, I would swear that the Navy has stock in it because thats all they use for all the brass that we have to polish. It's the been best polish in my experience.

when my car got painted,i had a chrome cover on my rearend.the overspray got on the chrome cover.i was afraid to use anything that was very abrasive ,thinking it might scratch the chrome.i tried different cleaners ,paint thinners and nothing worked.i had some polish sitting on the shelf that i had used on an aluminum boat and it worked great.it took the paint off this cover.its called blue magic(metal polishing cream).i bought it at auto zone.best polish i have ever used
