Hello all,
I've recently found out that the X1 crayon mark indicates that this car may be an SS350, however this car does not have the original engine or transmission, I don't have the protect o plate for this vehicle, is there any other way to confirm that vehicle may, in fact, be an SS350? Thanks in advance....Clint

Does the car have a cowl tag still? There are other ways of figuring it out. Where is the mark. These were put there (for those that don't know) while on the assembly line workers as they went through the line, the workers would put a mark; grease pen, chalk or crayon would be the standard. It indicated that a certain aspect of assembly was complete.

ST69 12437 NOR 115619 BDY
TR729 65 F PNT 10B
VIN 124379N519909
Thanks in advance....Clint

I didnt realize you had two post that were similar. I answered the other one instead. 729 is the interior. 12437 indicated a 69 coupe V8 made in Norwood in the (10b)2nd week of Oct. I would say its not exactly an SS350 based just off that info. There are other factors to consider however. It might be, it just still remains to be seen. Let me do some more reasearch and I will see what I can come up with as far as what we can do to ID your car.
