Diff. between SLP and K&N

I've been looking to buy something new for my 1996 Z28 and Im kind of stuck. I'm saving for headers at the moment but after headers I plan on getting an actual CAI (I currently have one of the ones from Ebay with just the small pipe) I was wondering which product would be the better buy. The SLP CAI is around 279 bucks while the K&N is around 220. They both seem to put out the same amount of HP so which should I go for?

both are way more than i'd spend...but yea, you wont notice a difference between the two
