Does anyone know what year vehicles drive shafts will fit into my 79 camaro?
Trying to broaden my search if possible.

any second gen will fit, as long as the tranny is the same. why are you looking for one

I bought what was basically a rolling shell. I bought a 350 engine with 350Turbo tranny so now I just need the drive shaft. I actually asked a friend of mine that had one made for his mustang and there is a local machine shop that will make one for me for under $200 so I'll probally just go that way.

i went the salvage yard, pulled a driveshaft that was longer than needed, took it down to the local drivetrain specialist, they cut it ,balanced it and put 2 new spicer u-joints on it for a 100 dollars

I had one custom made from the drive shaft shop out of Salisbury, NC.
www.driveshaftshop.com They did a really good job, had u joints, and the trans yoke, so you can have it made to order.
