i agree with getting the 350, i just picked up a 1978 350 with four bolt mains, only 60xxx miles on it for a whopping $200, aftermarket parts are so mass produced that i am going to say it is the cheapest way to get the most hp. the hard part for me is finding a manual tranny that will fit in my 85 camaro
