Electrical Problems-interior lights dont want to come on

So for some reason my interior lights dont want to illuminate. ive checked all the bulbs and know that the bulbs arent my problem. looking at the scematics of the lighting diagram, i can see that the interior lights arent run off of a series-paralell circuit. it is run off of a series circuit, so if one bulb were to go out it would allow all the other lights to be on. ive tested for continuity from the fuse block and i am getting voltage. i dont know if there is a relay i dont know about that might have gone out. looking at the scematics further, i predict that it might be the body control module, but dont want to spend money for a BCM just for troubleshooting! if anyone has any insight on this topic, go right ahead and leave me a message!

sorry i cant be any help but that sounds exactly what is happening with my 83. did you try replacing the fuses??
