Error code 43 ESC

That explains it all and for that matter i have no idea what to do. I will do a little research but figure you guys might have run into this problem before. Ill explain what the car does. As soon as i start the car the check engine light comes on since i know whats going i let it run 3-5 minutes and then it dies in idle after warming up of course. Try to restart and it wants to but just wont get to the point unless gas pedal is floored. then it starts and dies immediatly. i pull the error codes and get code 43 ESC (electronic spark control) dont know where to start with this and need a little advice other than pushing it into the backyard and lighting it on fire. j/k

i'm not positive but i believe that code is usually set when you have a bad knock sensor. Sick

There is also a square, flat black item that has wires plugged into it. That is the ESC. It gets a signal from the knock sensor. They seem to go bad before the knock sensor. The knock sensor sends its signal only when there is a knock.
