Was taking off my valve covers to check what was wrong with my engine, when one of my roller rockers to be sideways, the damn pushrod was gone, couldnt find it for the longest time, looked to see if the valve cover had a hole in it, it didnt so i took a magnetic pen and went around inside, found a PIECE of the pushrod the damn thing broke ive never seen one break, maybe bend but not break. this engine is coming out so that way i can rebuild it and im looking for another 350 or 305 just to put in it to drive this summer (nothing crazy) any way, im thinking the piston was hitting the head or what not and some how something got stuck and that damn thing just broke.
