Famous last words...."Watch this!"

I was gonna take my bike to the shop today for an inspection and new rear tire.  Well, if Im getting the tire replaced, might as well burn it up, right?  SO I grabbed the neighborhood kids, handed them a camera and said "watch this" ....

As you can see the burnout was spectacular.  So I tried it a second time....this time the bike kept jumping and I couldnt get the tire to break loose.....and then I smelled.....whats that...smells like brakes......oh $hit, thats my clutch....

Needless to say I had to limp her to the shop at 40 MPH (on a highway).  I feel this stupid little mistake is gonna cost me several hundred dollars.  But I looked cool, right.....anybody....cmon, Im not the only one to ruin my toys doing something stupid.......

Yeah, when its running.  The only bikes that need more maintenance than a Harley are Dukes......what model are you riding?  Funny, Ive only seen rich boys and pretentious assholes on those bikes, which are you?     (Cause Im a chick and all....)

Ive got a Dyno VFR in my shed. my bike ( with some new tires, wheels, both front and rear sprocket, chain and paintjob would own!) is way better... lol

But i think mike is the rich boy since idk wtf pretentious means.. lol

I hate when people say Sportsters are for chicks. That''s a sweet bike man, I''m diggin the black and orange.

And maintence is scheduled every 6000 miles. But you can ride those bikes hard without the rattling apart. I still have to change tires more often.
Its the harley riders that call the sporter a chics bike. Me and an old girlfriend were going for a drive and she used to hang with bikers (may have been a biker slut) and she was the first to spot these guys on harleys and mention that one of them was riding a chics bike.

Oh and this was from when I took a couple of months off work. Its from outside Mario Andretti''s winery.

Love em or hate em, that Duke is a nice looking bike.  Its a shame your so damn ugly. 
 
Yeah, I got over that chick bike thing a while back.  The Sporty is a nimble bike, and a good rider can our turn, accelerate, and generally whoop a big twin up to about 85 mph. My Sporty is a 1200 with small bolt on performance parts and has enough power to keep me scared sometimes. 
 
Now the 883, thats another story.  The entire 883 line should be dropped.  Guttless and slow, they are just for dirtbags who wanna own a Harley and cant afford anything else.  The worst are the ''bikers'' who have EVERY Harley related item but their bike.....well its a mid 70''s iron head in parts in the back of their shed.  Oh yeah, your a biker, sure buddy......

But yeah...If the harley was the last m/c on Earth and I had to chose it would be a sportser.
 
But for now I have always said to own a harley you have to be old and slow.....Hmmm I am getting there!

They ARE addictive.  I spent my first 3 or 4 seasons riding every minute I could.  After a while I rode every mile of asphalt within a 200 mile radius and I got bored and needed another hobby.  Thats when I bought and rebuilt the Maro.  I currently drive the Maro more than the bike....

Well the shop called...I most certainly fraggged the clutch.  Good news is that its only gonna cost about 200 to replace it.  Now maybe I can take the extra money I had budgeted and go but some common sense.  You guys got any to spare?

I am immune to the smog. Its all the fires! I am a non smoker but am getting the whole states second hand!
