Love Top Gear. It's my favorite show.

The only thing that I don't like about top gear is he bashes stuff just because it's made in the U.S.  Anyone who has the balls to slander the C6 Z06 should probably be shot...

Even though its a Ford I still have to stick up for it since it is a formitable opponent to the Camaro.  That is bs.  Top Gear is entertaining, but sometimes is just flat out bs.  You're compaing a car that is bigger, heavier, and half the cost of another car...sounds pretty logical.  Im with 95slvr, I hate people that bash domestic cars just because they were made in the U.S.  Damn limeys.

We aren't bashing on lambos cause they don't stand up to our muscle in the 1/4 mile. So why are they bashing on us about cornering? These cars are built for a different purpose.

I dont mean to diss you bro  but i am not sure where you get your info. your everyday lambo over there could wipe the floor with any muscle car you bring to the line. they are a lot different then the ones they allow the U.S. to sell. So dont think the american muscle car is the greatest ever cuz there are even alot of little imports that would give you a run for your money.

i would also rather hear that weed whip going though the the deep ass sound ppl call exhaust. I live in berlin wisconsin, and let me tell you its the redneck capital of the world.  This is a place were if you call your average person walking down the street a redneck, they say thanks. All you see are trucks with exhaust that is worse then a baby crying. its very annoying. so if you had to lison to that everyday  you would love the sound of the so called weed whip.

personaly   yeah   some out there might be nice ppl  and i am not here to offend anyone here. i am not a redneck at all . i am a racer. i drive the fast imports and demestic cars. and i am not welcome here at all. i have had my cars keyed, slahed, you name it all becasue my cars were always better then everyone elses. got in fights all the time. now you tell me y i would respect any of them here.

i didnt say you had to respect em. that kind of jealousy goes with all kinds of people not just rednecks, you just happen to live in a highly populated redneck area. rednecks where you live is like ricers where i live. they think they're the **** with big winged bright stickered coffee can grocerty getters.. and on top of that most of em are terrible drivers.  i dont understand why people take it that far though to vandalize other peoples property because its better.  if i see a a friggin Lotus on the road or parked ill look at it with amazement and give the guy a thumbs up..and go on with my day in my lovely camaro.

see that is nothen like here bro. i am there with you on a lot of the racers. alot of the cars that are being decked out sould not be. If you have a nice care here you need to have it on lock down at all times.. my car is never parked were it is not either seen or on camra. it is garaged at all times unless ia ma using it  and i have still had it damaged. one kid got pisses at me for pulling into my work parking lot. as soon as i went inside 2 tires slashed  and a fist dent in the hood. got it all on camra. cops did jack **** about it .

high end civics. mr2 spyder my comaro, high performance pontiac, and i will soon have a 97 supra

the civics belong to friends that let me drive and tune them for them. thay are anything from 8 to 13 sec in a 1/4 mile  the mr2 is my dads, and the pontiac use to be mine. that ran 8s in the 1/4 mile

I love Top Gear! It's one of my favorite shows along with This Old House and Metalocalypse. But what you have to remember about it is that it's a show with cars, not a car show. It's meant merely for entertainment and British entertainment at that, which, if you've ever seen a Monty Python work, is rather quirky. As to the handling of American cars, some of the 3rd generation Camaros could pull .92 g's from the factory with stock running gear. That is an impressive number for a car that you can now get very easily for under five grand. In Jeremy Clarksons The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly he had a Dodge Viper tying with the BMW Z4 in a race. I find that slightly hard to believe. The Viper weighs roughly four hundred pounds more but has about twice the horsepower and gobs more torque. With good tires the Viper can pull over one g while the Z4 only pulls a little over .9. He is hugely biased but nevertheless is a good entertainer. Also, as a side note I'm not a big fan of the Corvette. It's hugely fast but it's one of those things in life where the more you see of them the more dull they get (but that's just me).

I love Top Gear too! The bashing on American cars and such does get pretty old after a while, but that show is extremely entertaining, and there is some damn good camera work in that show too. I wish America had a show about cars (or a show with cars) like Top Gear. Some of that does seem overly biased to me. ESPECIALLY the Mustang v. Horse bit. That was definitely a V6 'Stang. It didn't even sound like a V8!

Also, MAN that 390 was beautiful, one of my all time favorite cars, mostly thanks to Steve McQueen and Bullitt, haha.

Where i come from all the kids drive expensivly riced imports from Hondas to BMWs.. One kid drives a next to stock EVO with a roll cage and racing seats.. My car is considered a pos to them because it didnt cost over 10k...

they really need to pull there head out of there asses. ask any true car person. Its not how much you pay for the car, or how much you put in. Its how the car looks and what kind of performance it has
