I'm looking to replace the fuel pressure regulator in my 92 rs v6 3.1 but i do not think it is possible. If anyone knows some advice would be appreciated. also the problem with the car is that i start it up and it starts fine and quick, then check engine light comes on and within a minute of idling i step on the gas and it dies. also once started if i attempt to move forward or reverse it will die. the error codes i got for it, were for the fuel pump ignition module and fuel pressure regulator. just need help with the fuel pressure regulator but if anyone else knows whats going on please help

The regulator is pemanently attached to the fuel rail, you will need to replace them both. Before you go about changing things, get a fuel injection pressure gauge and test both the pump and the regulator.

Try NAPA, Auto Zone, as a last resort any GM dealer will be able to get it for you. Also try Rock Auto (on line).

ok i tryed all them decided to go with a diapraghm kit turns out it worked got it hooked up and running and you dont need to buy the fuel rail and to change the pressure regulator it was fairly simple just a c clamp and torx tamper #t10. so glad i got that done. But i ran into another problem seperate from this and will start another thread. Its a code 43. ESC
