how do u know if ur 67 is an SS?

Hi i just got a 1967 camaro it originaly had a 396 w/ 4 speed manual trans. and 12 bolt rear end and i was wondering how u know if it is an SS or not?

If you've verified that the 396 is original by matching the serial number with the VIN then I guarantee you it's an SS. Only the SS would get the 396 motor in 67 Camaro.
