How Long Will I Wait?!

So I bought my 02 camaro on the fourth of july this year. About 3 weeks ago I put it through an 8 foot fence with steel posts embeded in concrete by being an idiot, like most young males are (I'm 19). I figured I've had a very modded probe gt that I've raced and whipped corners with many many many times. I've screwed around in my 300hp cadillac eldorado but the difference is, those are both front wheel cars. So anyways, I take a corner and hammer the gas, one tire jumps the curb while the other is trying to catch traction spinning on the ground. This causes me to screech into one hell of a spin. I counter steer, swerving the car the other way, but it screeches the other way, way to hard so I countersteer again. This time I spin and hop right over a curb and into the fence. I guess life teaches it's lessons to us through extremely stupid mistakes like this one.

Now to the point of the post, I bring it into this body shop I thought I could trust, my parents took their truck here when it was crashed and they did great work. Well, all they had to do for my car was put on a new front windshield, new front fenders, a new bumper cover, and a new hood. They quoted it at a little over one week. Well it's been over 3 now. They keep telling me the repairs are going good and they said it went into paint 4 days ago but they say it won't be ready for 3 more days. Honestly, I think they're ****in' me around because everytime I call different people will answer and tell me completely different things and different days. Anyone else ever deal with a SLOOOOW pain in the ass body shop?

I guess it's not the money part (raised insures or 500 deductible due) that bugs me, I have some change in the bank I'm not worried about that. But it's being carless for an entire month that's killing me. I'd pay for all the damage out of my own pocket and more just to get the thing back in the next 10 years. A guy just wants his baby back lol

paying the piper is something we all hate to do. since you love to dance you need to be patient. the body shop isn't the one that was acting like a fool. maybe you need to find a dirt road somewhere and learn how to handle a rear wheel drive vehicle before your hurt someone including yourself. Sick

In this situation man, you have to suck it up with a straw. One u were the one that was playing around, and two u took it to a body shop were time tables are never true. Look at it this way u could fix it ur self and how long would it take then? Try driving up there and seeing the car ur self.
