Hi, I took my car to the shop because it was having trouble starting. They told me a starter would cost 300 dollars. I have a 1994 Z28 Camaro. Cant I find a starter somewhere for $100 or less?

Not unless you get one from a salvage yard. A rebuilt goes for $150 to $180, a new one around $300 to $400, if you can find one.
