i got an offer

Oh dont sell for less than 4500.00 and only if you have another 3rd gen camaro that you can aquire at, well lets' say a hellava deal. Then you'll be able chat with us while you build another awesome camaro. But truth be known, i got my camaro from a freind for free, and i still could'nt sell her. What would i do with my spare time. Tough decision Tom! but if your considering it? start looking for another camaro, 67 SS, 71 RS SS. No order the new concept out in 09 Yeah that's it. LOL I can only afford the model.

well im thinking ill try and sell it for what im askin above. if no bite, then no loss. I would use the money to buy an SS anyway. lol. But i know what ya mean 454, i dont know what i would want for my baby. Shes my girl. Kinda like my first born, since i dont have a kid.
 
We talked for a little while, the engines a 350 4 bolt main. Good strong block for heavy mods and  whatnot. Only about 16k on it to, give or take a grand.
 
I wouldnt dare sell my car for blue book. not even twice blue book. The odemeter reads 9000 miles though! lol... i wonder what it would get me then...

A few years ago another guy that owns an 87 Iroc Z28 5.7L had his appraised for $10,000 and sold it for over $12,000. The blue book value of these is disgusting and whoever came up with such a figure should be shot, even the 2nd gen's value, they probably drive a honda anyway.

yeah, If you are gonna sell at least get enough to start another prodject...but due to the transformers movie...there are going to be a ton of people tryin to get an older camaro...and the 2nd gens will be the most wanted...just watch.

I get asked if I want to sell my car all the time. While I was recooping after surgery there were people leaving notes on it all the time. Its just mostly people wanting to look like hot shots or some thing. They want a car they can look in the paper. I total brought a guy down while he was in front of his freinds. He asked if I wanted to sell my car and I asked if he saw a sign in it MF. I dissed him in front of his boys! I was out numbered four to 1 and could of got my assed kicked to but I never think of that till way later.
You may never hear from him again or he will want to get it for $1500

well, over night ive decided im not going to sell it, ive got far to much time and money, even though WAY WAY less than most of you probably have in yours, to just, up and sell it. Ill ask him if he had a number in mind when he calls, if not, then im not even going to bother, ill just tell him its not for sale.

Good answer Tom, "NO SALE" .  Now just for "chits and giggles, what if? this guy calls back, and you ask him if he had a # in mind? and he blurts out 5 thousand, and you say?  "NO SALE"  double that and it's yours. LOL  ( CASH ONLY)

lol i had a guy offer me 10k once, never heard from him again though... dammit.
 
but if he blurts out something around 5k cash, its gona be hard to turn it down, i might have to think on it for awhile...

To the people valuing cars, keep in mind different regions have very different price ranges. For here (Vancouver) cars are expensive and i'd show up at your front door with 5K cash. That being said 5,000 does seem worth it, it's not about the money you put into it but the sweat, time, and probably blood. If it runs great and there are no problems with it don't sell even at 5K. If he's serious and offers 8K+ then it'd be worth considering.

You cant sell your child! Well Tom if i had an extra 6 or 7 k i would buy it, because i know that car is spoil rotton just like mine. I take better care of my car! then i do my girlfreind, definately spend more time with the car. And the only time my ears burn is when i crank the music. If i win the lottery 2 nite I'll buy it from ya Tom then give it back to ya. Dont worry i dont stand a snowball's chance in hell of winning the lotttery.
