I got some new parts.

I just picked up a set of Hotchkis Rear springs for my '69. They are supposed to lower the rear end 2.5" Now I have to tear apart the rear end and buy some more jack stands.

Has anybody else done this? Just wondering how they like it.

2.5" inches huh? seems like an awful lot to ask for and still have good rebound ability.
 
I hope you already did your frontend?

Let us know how this works out..should be fine with the 2nd gen front end on it.

Yeah, I lowered the front end 2" already.
Can't be sure of the final look until I put the new rims and tires on.

I haven't installed them yet.

I'm still working on my motor. Just finishing up the heads tomorrow, then I move on to the intake.
