Three days after buying a 175.00 hose now the top wont go down! Can anyone tell me where the motor is for the convertible top is? 1996

I got the same problem. The motor is in the left side of the trunk under a cover. You can drop the top manually just undo the latches and push it down. To put it up just pull it up its kinda of heavy though. The motor cost about $250 at advance auto parts but theres is bunch of other stuff that could cause it not to work. Still trying to figure out why mine is not working.
