I just bought a FLOW TECH Afterburner Muffler for my 2.8l V6 1984 Camaro, but is it any good I havent had the cash to get it put on. Becuase right now its running right off the headers.

So its being parked until I get some cash.

What ever funds allow you is good. All its going to do for you is make it sound a little better but only as much as the 2.8 will let it.

What about the rest of the system??? Once the muffler goes the pipes are not far behind.

I have a 92 3.1 RS and I had true duals with glasspacks and the tips are the same aftermarket muffler tips you see on fixed up tuner cars. And by the way I had the cat. converter taken out. It sounds awsome with a good deep rumble. Most people dont bother running true duals on small V-6's but it worked for me. Just a option you could consider.
