You're looking at a pretty labor-intensive job for a blown head gasket on an LT1, considering how much of a pain they are to work on. I had 174,000 miles on my 1994 B4C and the head gasket blew. I just chose to do a nice rebuild. It was going to cost about $400-$500 in labor, I believe.
My suggestion is that while you have the heads off, you might as well just go the distance.
Would I pay $2000 for a car with a blown head gasket? It depends on the condition of the body, interior, and if anything else was wrong with it.

Well, the dude's right about one thing. It certainly is a rare 1994 SS, considering the Camaro SS didn't even make a return until 1996!

Well, if that car certainly was a 1994 Camaro SS, you better be jumping all over that car for $5000.
