so what kind of music do you all like?
me im a hard core MetallicA fan. but i enjoy bands like dream theater and Journey. im also kinda geting in to power metal...

I am a jazz musician, so naturally I listen to jazz most of the time. Just doesn't feel right in the camaro though, so when I'm in the beastie it is usually some 80's hair band haha

i just DLed some white stripes cd and its pretty good, i've been seeing a music video on MTV alot and ended up getting the whole CD

As long as it's not rap, country and has good instrumentals I'm game for it. I'm going to buy the new Shadows Fall CD tomorrow or friday, the songs I've heard off of it are pretty good. But, just to throw a few bands/people out there. Buckethead, Mudvayne, Liquid Tension Experiment, Primus(or other Les Claypool), TOOL, Rage Against the Machine, Apocalyptica, Mr. Bungle, oh and the list continues for a while...
Oakleys, if you like Dream Theatre you should chech out Liquid Tension Experiment, it's like Dream Theatre, but all instrumental...pretty cool stuff.

Shadows Fall played at our club like 2 weeks ago. They were damn good live.

I'll have to check out liquid tension experiment...I have heard it is pretty good. One of the guys I teach with is a dream theater fanatic. Seems like there is always something of theirs playing...

VAN HALEN, JOURNEY, REO SPEEDWAGON, AC/DC (those 4 are #1), Def Leppard, The Scorpions, Supertramp, Kiss, Steve Miller Band, Foreigner, Styx, Tom Petty, E.L.O., B.T.O., J. Giels Band, Led Zeppelin, Heart, The cars, The Eagles, The Who, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Queen, ZZ Top, Santana, Blue Oyster Cult, Cheap Trick, Aerosmith, Beach Boys, Bon Jovi, (those are just my favorites) All i listen to is classic rock and some country like kenny chesney. rap, this new rock, and hiphop sucks!

I love rap always have since I was younger, don't bag on it cuz I don't bag on the music you listen to...I listen to basically everything, just depends on my mood, country, rock, rap, metal, whatever fits my mood at the time
