Hey guys i just got my 2000 Camaro in May and in Oct while driving when it shifts from 2nd to 3rd and 3rd to 4th there is a loud grinding sound under my car when I accelerate. The check engine light was on and the code was for my trans cylanoids and i failed admissions, well i changed those and the grinding didnt go away but i passed admissions and the check engine light went away for 2 days and came back on and before i found the new code i put the car away for winter. When i changed the trans cylinoids there were little shavings once spring comes ill be taking it in to get fixed just wondering if anyone knows what my problem is thanks guys

4L60E trans?
I'd say give me the codes you had so I can check some TSB's.
First guess is the pump failing, torque converter shot and the valve body is shot like most 4L60E trans do.

Sounds like it is time for the tranny man. Bad things happening inside.

Does it make the noise in neutral and park?
what codes did you have?
right now sounds like a planetary noise, or the thrust bearing in the convertor fubared...
Regardless, noise+4L60E=new trans/rebuilding trans (most times)
