sports

how many sports fans we got? anybody playing on any high school, college, or even higher level teams. i play baseball and i wrestle. i'm a lefty ace on the mound and a horrible wrestler for my high school  
 
i guess the whole left handidness is only an advantage in baseball.

I played Hockey for 10 years...played up until senior year High School until I f*(ked up my arm....hopefully I'll be ready for next year.

Now I just watch the Wings and Spartans

yup i play varsity baseball for my high school and baseball for a local league and  legion ball! #2 in the state last year for baseball(high school) even though i wasnt on varsity then and with the american legion team we won states and went 2 NY for regionals.all together i play a lil over 100 games a year.LOL

I played on a homeschool/church basketball league for over 10 years.

100% hockey player varsity hockey since i got into high school hurt my right arm badly (piece of metal went threw my elbow major nerve damage big nasty scars) before my college try outs didnt tell the team they found out an had to let me go 2 weeks before it was over (big heart ache), now play for leagues around minnesota just fractured the right hand in the play offs on sunday beating the team 3-2 tuesday was game 2 best outa 3 and lost 6-1 tuesday lol with me on the bench going out every so often bitchen lol now i think im done for good not sure yet.... go vancouver and detriot!!!

i played baseball for about 10 years, quit out of frustration. ALWAYS outfield. Its fun and all, but i wanted infield, i got one shot for ONE inning. I got a stand alone double play ( caught the line drive at my face, then tagged the guy out at second) and the very next inning i was back in center... that was my last year.

I was always put in center.
Wanted to play 2nd, and I was good.
But no one usually had my wheels, glove, and gun on many teams, so I was most useful to the team there. add in the most demanding place to hit cutoff men and back up other OF's, and you have the baseball version of Special Forces...
Now i take pride in that, and running the outfield, but at the time I was bummed.
Might be yr experience if you were smart and a great feilder...

thats true, they called me speedy since i was by far the fastest man on the team, and i could throw straight to home most of the time faster than hitting my cutoff man. Unless its way back there... I guess i coulda called myself the special forces of my team, way to think!

hey nothing wrong with the outfield. if your in center you have call over everyone pretty much. we just won 2day. i was 3 for 4 and had a diving play in the outfield. i'm batting in the 300's and am 3-0 on the mound with a 1.7 era.
 
100 games has me in baseball. i play 60-70 a year.

Wrestled in College for 4 yrs, Football and Karate in the jr and sr high school but that was over 20 ago now I just coach wrestling and soccer and put up with the old injuries lol. I wish now I would have given baseball a shot but it wouldnt have left much time for cars.

Does anyone else play basketball other than me?

only rec leagues for me now, im in college and i play rec softball and basketball. but during the summer im on a tourney softball team. i play short stop and  point or 2 gaurd.

I just usually shoot around at parks right now till I can find a team.

yeah just go to your local rec. and play in pick-up games or just meet people and get some guys together... i think rec ball is almost more fun than high school ball.

I wrestled since I was little (bout 7) til I was a senior in HS, wanted to wrestle at a private college, but opted for Community College with no wrestling team...did that, never found out what i wanted to do, had a kid and bought a camaro...
 
Oh I also played Football since 7th grade...and flag before that

i played varcity football till my junior year till i got cut blocked illegally and dmged my knee to the point to the point that i was never the same
