Anyone here put some subs in there 2nd generation. Im wanting to put some in my car but i dont know what would be the best setup. I want to put two 12's or 10's in my trunk but i dont think i can fit them. And i really dont want to have to resort to truck boxes. Any suggestions guys? thanks, James

My 81 Z28 has its frame connected and ladder bars installed best thing since sliced bread. I will dig out the receipts and let you know what they are. I think I got them from Jegs 1800-345-4545 you can always call them and get a part number than do a Google search for the best price.

What the Hell does that have to do with the question? anyways, you could geta custom shop to rig some up for ya. I have two kicker solobaric L7s in my cars trunk, its tight back there, but looks good. Had a local guy help me build them

My bad now I read it I have to laugh at myself thought sub frame connectors. I have one 10in Bazooka tube and it’s unreal. If you don’t like them there is a box made just for the trunk of 70-81 Camaros call crutchfield they can tell you how much but the one Bazooka rocks in my car not sure anyone would need more.

lol, thats cool, read that and I had to scratch my head. any standalone will work, but for a nice sound and good look, you really need to go custom, and put down lots of sound deadener or the rattles will be louder than the sub lol

I have the fix for the rattle it worked 100% on my 81. Go to Home Depot after you install the box or Bazooka in the insulation isle there is a pink board you can cut with a knife. Fill in the holes around the box or tube and your set. Also make sure every screw it tight. I used a tube of the Red lock tight worked like a charm.

yeah, and try to pad the rear shelf area as much as you can too, it has a tendency to rattle and warp a lot

Thats where I used the lock tight. You can slide the pink board under the metal on some parts. Every Camaro 70-81 had the same problem in the back window it was funny the rattle went with every beat.
