suggestion for ride of the month

I believe that far more people would be involved in this if there was a banner attatched to the forum home page. Perhaps a 12 slot banner with clickable thumbnail size pic's of each month's winner.Changed once a year  I'd be willing to bet a pink slip on it.Just an idea I thought I would toss out there

I think you are saying you would like to see a picture of each months winner.  Kind of an incentive thing?

yes each month's winner's in a banner stretched across the top of the forum or something of that nature.Not just 1 car banner but a 12 car banner of clickable thumbnails, which would remain up for the entire year,Then the next years cars and so on

I like that idea, hell it would make me want to do more work on my camaro just in hopes that it might make it there someday. (someday will probably be never)  I'm pretty new here and I haven't voted yet and first gens are my favorite kind of camaro especially the 69 SS.  I think it would a nice incentive who wouldn't want their ride posted as a winner?

I must be thinking of something totaly different then what has been done here before ....as i dont see anything there on the "homepage" prefrably / or the ride of the month forum now nor have i ever seen.Picture 12 slots with each month's car featured in a banner style as the year ends then the january car is replaced with a new ride of the month for that month/year then the feb /march/april and so on like a revolving door.The point is there will always be featured 12 car's respectivly (for each month)in this banner once the first year is completed.after the first year each month starting with jan is replaced with a new ride of the month

normally there is a picture post in the upper corner

I think Hawk had it set up to have a pic and spacial area for the winner to talk about his/her ride.  I will see about getting thay back up.  Blade ic correct with the area, it was on the right column under the 'top 10 posters' area.
