I have a 1976 Camaro with a 350 engine and a 350 turbo transmission. Me and my dad have been working on it for quite some time and we have got most of the bugs out of the motor...but now when we shift the car into drive it dies almost immediatly. We have adjusted the idle, checked for vacum leaks and that kind of stuff, but none of it keeps the motor from losing about 600 rpms when it is shifted into gear. Anyone know how to keep the engine from losing so many rpms?
