In a 1990 RS with a V6 which transmission did it come with as an automatic. Could it be a 700R4?
Will a early model V8 bolt up to it if I use the correct flex plate for the engine type?

Yes it is a 700R4 and no a V8 tranny will not bolt up to the Camaros 60 degree V6
