Hi everybody, As anyone replaced there turbo 350 trans with a 700r4 trans in a 1980 camaro z28 thanks!!

can be done with some alterations to the crossmember and hotwiring the lockup solenoid. you can run a 700R-4 without the lockup engaged but they shift REALLY hard without it. i use one in drag racing and the hard shifting actually helps but, it would be unpractical for street use. it only shifts under high rpm loads. why are you looking to change? you have a better tanny with the 350 just isn't as good on gas mileage. sick

what about changing the rear end, putting a higher gear in the rear end?
