Trying a product for suspension treatment

I bought a zinc spray that I will be using to protect the subframe I am rehabbing.  I spoke to the manufacturer about the application and they said the spray could be top coated with any type of paint.  What suggestions can you all provide for a black to be used on the frame, control arms, steering etc....  The zinc paint is flat aluminum or glossy (I have both).  Frame should be different than control arms?  I have seen some pics of restored cars that have multiple black finishes.
