Just bought a 2002 Camaro w/ a 3.8 V6. I am starting to add some mods and wondered if it would be possible to add a turbo charger to add more H.P? If so, what type should I buy and how much horsepower will it add?

V8 is the easy solution, I know. The car only has 40k on it and has been taken care of, so I am just adding to it as a hobby. Although your right, the V8 would be the quickest way-I'm just trying to do something a little different. Thanks for the reply.

Well Buick had some turbo 3.8 V6s in the 80s and I have seen folks fit the pieces to Camaros although I don't kow how difficult that is. I'd google around looking for fits and such, too.

3800performance.com should have one for you to buy. I think you COULD get 90 HP with the right supporting mods, and a good tunning

Power adders might be a good idea, but this will cost you a lot of money. Turbo's are generally more difficult setting up and maintaining versus a supercharger. On the flip side, having the smaller v6 your car would less understeer and things of that nature.
