glad you got yours fixed, and thanks for all the responses guys, now i will have something to do when i get home for thanksgiving and am finally in the same town as my car

there you go, i just got my 78 and it still has the 31yr old suspension and wheels and joints and everything, aka, it gets very shakey at high speeds lol, im sure my problem is much more than just tires, not to mention the entire interior rattles lol, glad you fixed the problem though

Yeah, now my passenger side ball joint is "groaning" at me on slow turns, got down there and greased it up, kept it quite for a while but I have to bite the bullet and just get new joints. I hate working on suspension, so damn messy....

You and me both! I have yet to rebuild my suspension, and I've got everything sitting in the garage to do so. Just don't enjoy it nearly as much as engine work, or even body work.
