Your project is looking GREAT!  I have never thought of the casters on the sub....Looks alot safer than setting jackstands in a car dolly.  Looks like you are heading down the home stretch.  I would say at this rate, your car will be on the road by summer's-end.

Well most times I am working. But I only got about 3 more weeks and then wedding season is over.

Now on to the car. Well we got the main part of the subframe cleaned up and painted. Bob got my dash all complete now so all the main body work is done. There are only a few minor spots on the inside to do. I was told that all the motor parts we order came UPS yesterday and after taking the front suspension apart we now need to go buy all the bushings, ball joints and things for that. Just what I needed to do, throw more money at it...lol...oh well, we are just waiting on the heads and pistons and then we can build ourselves a motor.

Looks like Bob is doing a great job for you.  It is hard to find a good bodyman that will stick with a project and do a good job.  You are going to have a very-very nice car when finished!

Wow, that lower cowl panel (where the lower part of the windshield ends) is really cool.  I saw that he repaired that with sheet metal intead of putting in an entirely new panel....Looks good.

I would bet that you are getting really excited about this.. I know I would be!

Thanks guys. So it was like christmas for me yesterday and getting all my new motor parts

Here's the new pistons

Here's the Harmonic Balancer, Push Rods, Highdrolic Lifters, Cam, Timing Chain & cover, Piston Rings, & head bolts.

New Torque Convertor

Love what the side of the box says

My Ac unit is now mounted.

And now for the best part. Bob finally got some red paint on my car. On the firewall is the red base coat and on the dash is the base and top coat. I know that from the pics it looks a bit red but standing next to it, it is spot on what I was looking for.
