Thanks! Here''s an update. I started out the day by cleaning my rockers from another set of heads. My aluminum ones didnt come with.

Then we got started tinting the windows. We got 3 of them done. Had trouble with the rear window cause it is so curved. We will have to do it in strips.

So then it was time to go see Bob. My new windshield is here and hehas painted some of the trim black.

Here''s the nose and trunk lid primed

And the interior is now getting painted black

And last but not least Bob is now taking all the front end back off to paint the inside of the panels and said we have to get a new hood. He said he would buy me a new one since he said we could use it and didnt budget for it, but I told him I would split the cost with him.

All of the outside gaskets and bumper kits along with a new wiring harness is on the way. While I am on vacation next week the car will be painted and soon to be coming home to me so I can finish her.

Hi orocker
I''am new to this forum!
Just spent the last few hours reading up on your project! Awesome I must say, I''am looking into buying a 67-69 camaro , and wanting to go thru what your doing, you said you live just outside of orlando, I''am in Winter Haven and would like to know the name and place of your body guy if you wouldn''t mind. It might be sevral months down the road as I don''t even have a camaroto start with, I just recently rebuilt a 350 for an 86 camaro for a friend, and now that I''am done with that project I would like to get in on another.

GREAT looking car so far, thanks for all the pics and info you been giving out.

Your new signature photo tells us your Camaro is all one color now, maybe?

ok we will try this update again. Last time it didnt go thru. So before I went on vacation I saw my trunk opening and the inside of the lid painted and cleared along with the door jams and the new weather stripping on.

I come home from vacation to find the front end all put together, my new hood is here and the underside is shiney black and cleared, my wiper motor and control arms are in, and my window and upper door trim is on.

So last sat I went and put on the heads and just sat the manifold on top. We are going back this sat to put some more on the motor but the rest will get done after she is all painted.
