1995 Camaros use an OBDI computer, but the diagnostic connector is a 16 pin OBDII type. In order to attach the OBDI scan tool an adapter is needed. These two jumper cables will work as an adaptor.

Use two jumper cables configured as idicated. One end of each cable is attached to an alligator clip, and the other end of each cable is attached to a male pin. For best results used soldered connections to make the cables up. Parts can be obtained from Radio Shack. Look for alligator clips with a rubber shield to prevent shorts.

To use the scanner attach the cables as shown on the diagram:
1) Attach the alligator clip end to the pin on the scanner cable -
2) Insert the pin end of the jumper cable into the female socket on your vehicle's 16 pin connector.
