So I found a full set of seatbelts for my second gen for a pretty good price (35 bucks).  One of the rear retractors was extended all the way out and I thought that maybe it was just jammed.  When I got home I took the housing off and the end of it that says, "Caution:  DO NOT REMOVE" was already busted and the copper strip spring just spooled out.  I have another set of rear 2nd gen seatbelts but don't like the metal housing they have.  Does anyone know of a way to transfer the housings or straps without removing the stitching?  The tongues are completely different so I can't just take the female connector and put it in.  I've never disassembled a seatbelt before so I have no clue to what you can and can't do and I don't want to mess up the ones that work just for aesthetic reasons.

Camaro 69 is always right, trying to correct him is always just a misunderstanding on your part.
