Please, please, please tell me that "hamster tail" on the roof line will be optional. I really dislike how the satellite antennas mess-up the roof line of otherwise beautiful cars. My dad told me that the new vette will have it hidden in the side mirrors as many vette owners complained about it. I realize that both GM and Ford have a vested interest in keep subscriber rates of their respective ventures up, but to force it on the consumer is something all together different. Honestly, I love the camaro...'68 has always been my favorite...but, right now, that satellite receiver is a deal breaker for me.

Unless they have a recieving antenna in both mirrors the signal will be severly degraded being below the roof.
