ORIGINAL: 1613z28ss Yes, It has been taken out to show what it can do, and all sports car have. We dragged against a 2007 Z06 and won. But with only 18k on it and owners all older then the age of 40, with that amount of money on the line no way has this car ever been abused and misused. Also what about this new Camaro Chevrolet talks about. I see now they’ve pushed the date back to fall of 2009. The 02’ is the last year for the car. So what happens if by 2010 the car isn’t released. The 02’ would be the last official year of production. We might be talking A COLLECTOR CAR, especially in this condition, the extra features, and the SS Z28. This could be worth way more then the 50k we’re talking about. $50,000 isn’t expensive if you put in the fact that it’s (I Personally Think) sexier then the 07’/08’ Corvettes as well as faster, low miles, and a body in perfect condition. Alright, now how about the previous owner, im very skeptical of used cars, especially from private buyers, they can be very shady and try to avoid the fact they beat the snot out the car. And all owners over age 40 means nothing, i know plenty of people with a lead foot that are over 50 even. And your whole second paragraph is hypothetical...so it could be worth that 50k your right, but if its not......

Not that its wrong to see what a car can do, but when your asking that much every little detail comes into question. And your whole second paragraph is hypothetical...yes it could be the last year of production....could be...if its not? then what, you just screwed someone out of 50k. Besides, do you think GM or any company for that matter would take a project this far only to trash it at the end? Again, im not saying it isnt nice, just overpriced...and a little over hyped.

I don't know what kind of guy the original owner is. But the last owner is a local business owner who is very wealthy. A lot of his income is involved in investing into vehicles that are unique and showcasing them to win the money. The vehicles he owns are the luxury type and not the sport enthusiast type. He simply did not like the red sports car. This type of guy I can guarantee didn't race it once. Now about private sellers. The vehicle is actually being sold by Law Motors located in Sioux Falls, SD. I am the owners son, and this car is one of our actual personal cars. We have a couple nicer cars coming in and we would like to see this sell. Used cars are questionable sometimes but I've checked the title info and vehicle info and it's clean. The body is clean and the motor bay is clean. No leaks, battery is excellent, tires have 90% tread, it does come with the stock wheels and tires. Interior leather looks as if never sat in, no marks in the interior. Runs beautiful. Sounds meaner then anything someone can imagine. & the undercarriage is even clean. It's not daily driven, doesn't see snow or rain, stored in a heated showroom, and gets a tender dusting every week. This Camaro is worth the $50,000. visit: http://lawmotors.com/show.aspx?vid=994378

dunno if this link will work http://www.kbb.com/KBB/UsedCars/PricingReport.aspx?ManufacturerId=9&YearId=2002&VehicleClass=UsedCar&VehicleId=3527&SelectionHistory=3527%7c14427%7c52233%7c0%7c0%7c135352%7ctrue%7c135441%7ctrue%7c135432%7ctrue%7c135390%7ctrue&PriceType=Retail&Mileage=18000&ModelId=368&Condition=Excellent but this is a fully loaded 2002 SS 35 anniv coup with less miles than that advertised above. 20k for retail on this car, i would expect to pay a couple thousand less if dealing witha private seller who cant offer me any incentives like dealer warranties or anything like that. so you are asking for 30k for a cam, which i am in the process of doing in my car, and cost me about 600 dollars, nitrous, which i have on my car, and my kit is more advanced than urs and it costs me about 1000. that is unrealistic, prehaps u will get lucky and some poor sap will buy the car. yes its clean, yes its fancy, but a body kit doesnt add retail value to a car. like i said in my first post, i could buy 2 cars elsewhere identical to that one for 50k and still feel ripped off. if this car MUST go, i would see if u can get 25-27k for it, and be open to offers in the 20-21 range. if u for some reason paid almost 50k for it and ur looking to get ur money back out of it.... i feel sorry for u, and u should have come here first so we could talk u out of it. its a beautiful car, but nowhere near the 50k range. late model cars are not collectible, so thats not a selling point. no telling what is going to be valuable in 20 years. and the 35 anniv SS package isnt that rare, theres a few of them running around here in Iowa City (come on... in IOWA! which strangely enough is where the car originates). you have a coulple G's in performance mods, maybe one or 2 in the external visual, and a few hundred in engine dressup. it is very difficult to get people to buy a car + cost of mods. usually a seller just eats that money, because a mod isnt an investment. If you actually were aware of all these things to begin with and u were hoping to con some poor sap into paying 2x for a car, dont post on a forum. its going to get poopoo'd on very fast and anyone reading the add will see what we have to say. Alot of us guys are always in the market, and if the deal is right we'd jump, but if u want to get even close to realistic, ur going to have to come down into the 20s, because to be perfectly honest, thats all that 6 year old car is worth

haha ^ +1 there's no way he's getting 50 grand out of that car. Granted its clean and nice, but only worth high 20's max and thats saying he's getting something out of the Mods which usually doesn't happen. I can buy the same thing stock with about 5000 miles on it for 18 grand I've checked. After putting 5000 of mods i can basically have the same car with money to spare for a full tank of premium
