Just kinda curious, does anybody know/have any educated guesses as to what a stock '93 Yukon's top speed is? The speedo only goes up to 85mph but I know it goes faster, because Saturday night me and my friend were kinda messing around on the freeway on the way to his house (he drives a 97 318i 5spd 4cyl) and he said we were going like 90 something. My guess would be in the 100 to (maaayyybe) 110 range.

i took the speed limiter off of my 97 Subruban, managed to get to just under 135mph. you have the 5.7, right??

Yeah, stock 5.7 TBI. That's not half bad for a big ol 'burb, haha. Where did you manage to go that fast?

Make sure the speed rating on your tires is willing to let you go that fast... I'd hate for your tires fail at high speeds.

I'm not really planning on topping it out anytime soon, haha. I was just curious since I know it goes faster than what's on the speedo.
