Hello.

I've been without the use of my parking brake on my '98 for about a year.  I'm contemplating replacing it on my own.  I've been referring to the 'How to's' on autozone.com.  In the guide, reference to using a j 37043 release tool (or equivalent) is made several times in the process.  Can someone kindly please tell me what that tool is..where to get..or even better, a simple but cheap alternative tool that will work for this.

Thanks.

You need to be specific on the year.  E-brakes were different on certain years.
