what do you guys think.  i have a 94 z28 with only 40k miles.  There's a guy in my area who has a 99 ss in great condition who would trade me. the only problem is that it has 114k on it.  even with that many miles, the ss still blue books for more than mine. would you guys trade?

i guess it comes down to what car you like more...if they are basically the same car as in color, interior, blah...i'd probably do it.  if you're seriously up in the air and don't know which one you like more, then i'd probably go to the SS.  but if even the smallest part of you is liking your Z more then DON"T DO IT!

It really depends on which you like better, as everyone else has said. I personally don't like the front end as much on the 98+ 4th gens, I like the looks of the earlier ones, so I would probably keep your car, even if the other has more HP. It's really up to you, especially if it's a straight up trade...

P.S. Would you be able to fit your 3 alternators, 12 Optima Marine Batteries and your 250 lbs leaf blower under the hood of the 99

I have a '96 with virtually the same milage as yours, and I wouldn't trade mine for any Camaro with over 100k miles.

if i was you i would definetly do it, mileage isn't everything, test drive it make sure it runs good and if it does i would do it, the 98 and newer camaro are so nice, it's only nine years old instead of 14 years old, your car is nice but the 98 and newer ss camaro's are awesome

like you said, it's worth a lot more

it's a good deal for you unless you're just seriously attached to your car already
