when you say tune you mean what because im going to run a wet kit and the extra fuel is added along with the nitrous when the button is hit?

u can tune using the jets, but i dont prefer it.   this means u check the spark plugs, particularly #7 after a run and look for signs of lean/rich condition and change the fuel jet accordingly.   however, this does not affect your timing, and factory tunes have plenty of timing, too much for me.  I would recommend a dyno tune to ensure the motor will last.

I dont recomend over a 125. Yes you can run 150 with good tuning safe. But i like being more then safe thats just me. Some guys have pushed well past the 150 mark on stock bottom end LS1's but they dont leave any room for error and personaly are on life support in my book. I would say 150 is probaly as far as you want to go with good tuning. Invest in all the right safty gear and spend some time on the dyno and you should have no problems with a good wet set up. Specter can point you in the right dirrection if you need any help.

ignition box?  I hope u arent looking at the 6ls from MSD.  i tried that thing out, it has some funky timing curves, with timing that advanced through the rpm instead of retards.  it went from 20deg at low rpm to over 40 at high, which is the opposite of what u want if u like ur motor.  so all of the chips that come with it are junk.  also I could never get my cam and crank PS's to work.

the stock ls1 ignition is good for about whatever youre going to throw at it. I wasted money on an ignition box, lemme steer u away from there.  ud be better off buying a handheld tuner or HPtuners/EFIlife or something like that
