Ok i need help. I'm about to have my 92 z28 painted and i want to get it painted either green or orange but i havent seen very many in either color so if someone could tell me where i can find some pics or even show me pics of their own car i would really appreciate it.  Also is there a certain green or orange they look best in?

Yeah Cal-Trans orange. You can do highway work in it!
Paint it green and name it "The Hulk"
Though Hugger orange with some black rally stripes might look neat

The only color for a Z is black.

Meh, to each his own, but I just love a nice black 3rd gen Z28 with the stock IROC rims and T-tops, hence why I bought one, lol. Btw, while we are on this subject, do you think it would be dumb if I put IROC Z decals on the bottom of mine after I get it painted?

I don't think it would be dumb. But why not do some thing a little more subtle like painting it on in say three shades of charcoal so it does not stand out but is there. Its so easy to mask off block letters.

Thats a good thought, I just like the way the decals look though. I guess you are right, it wouldnt be dumb, its not like im trying to pass a RS as a Z28, lol.

Well I wanted black but the guy who's painting it is not really a "professional" painter, so i was thinkin there might be too much room for error.  Also red's out cause my cousin drives a red rs and he'd probably get pretty hulkish if he found out i painted it the same color as his.
