Well, to successfully gut a cat I'd get a sharp knife, or if you want to be scientific about it, a scalpel.  Now, the best thing to do is to start at the base of the neck at the top of the sternum, hold the cat tightly and make a cut down one side of the sternum.  Once you get to the Zyphoid Process you can continue to cut down the ventral surface of the cat, through the abdominal muscles all the way to the pelvis.  At this point I'd suggest breaking the rips away from the side of the sternum that you cut down and break them along the side of the cat as well.  If you make two horizontal cuts, one going from shoulder to shoulder and the other right below the lower abdominal muscles you should be able to open the cat up fairly easily.  From this point you may proceed to remove the intestines and other internal organs.

Or...you can pull the cat back off your car, take a metal pipe and ram out/clean out all the honeycomb...

well after you gut it you might wanna concentrate on beefing up your rear end, transmission, clutch if you have a manual, wiht the unbelievable power gutting your cat will give you.

get a long, thin metal object with some bend to it then just whirl it around inside the car and tear down the meshing ......
