i have a 95 z28 with a few problems and need some help
-when the engines cold is has a lot of trouble starting and will sometimes blow a little smoke underneath the car by the intake and sometimes has a little trouble starting wen warm also but not near as bad
-when i shift from park into gear it jumps forward about an inch or 2...there is a bearing that does need to be replaced at the end of the transmission but still not really sure if thats the issue
-when driving theres a howling noise coming from the rear axle, i tried some differential conditioner and it quieted down a smidge but only for a little while and still makes the noise

if u have any suggestions ur help would be greatly appreciated

not sure about tranny and rear end but the starting thing I have had similar probs with. Might want to check your coil and or dist. I switched to msd for both and the problem hasn't arose since.

Sounds like you might have a bad tranny mount, which is very common. You can pick one up at O'reilys for I think 35 buck. Make sure you get a good poly urethane one.  If they say they dont have one at O'reilys-which is what they told me-they are lying and just dont want to look up what one is needed.  As far as your first promblem my guess would be the opti spark, but is a complete guess

Try some fuel system/injector cleaner like Lucas through a few tanks, every changed your fuel filter? Spray some throttle body cleaner to get rid of any stickage, varnish and gunk there.

Get a fuel pressure test -- your fuel pump may need replacing... I have this issue on my '95 3.4L...

Try removing the Diff cover, drain it, and replace full synthetic back in, along with any additives your manual requires/recommends.

Might want to replace that bearing, if you know it is bad!
